Requirements Checking

Welcome to the configuration wizard of LifeType. These are some basic checks of your current system in order to ensure that LifeType can run properly.

IMPORTANT NOTE:If you upgraded from LifeType 1.1.x to 1.2.0, there are some changes that need to be done to some of your resources. This is a known issue in the upgrade process of LifeType 1.1.x to 1.2.0 that did not convert the name of some preview files correctly. In order to have this issue fixed, click here and let the browser window reload.

File permissions checking

Checking if file/folder config/config.properties.php is writable

Checking if file/folder tmp is writable

Checking if file/folder gallery is writable

PHP version checking

Checking if the installed PHP version is at least 4.2.0

PHP configuration checking

Checking if session.auto_start is disabled

Checking if safe mode is disabled (optional)

Checking if file_uploads is enabled

PHP functions availability checking

Checking if session functions are available

Checking if MySQL functions are available

Checking if XML functions are available

Checking if iconv functions are available (optional)

Checking if mbstring functions are available (optional)

Checking if gd or gd2 functions are available (optional)

Checking if ctype functions are available (optional)
